Family Promise of Pinellas County is a coalition of churches, synagogues and mosques committed to helping children and their parents move from homelessness to independence. Families are sheltered while services are provided to secure employment, social services and permanent housing for the family. You can help in building communities, strengthening lives.

"Our operating network in Minneapolis had a problem with its phone system, and for a couple of days this past November, could not access its voicemail. When the problem was resolved, they found dozens of messages from people in need. (Minneapolis is home to two stark and interrelated statistics: nearly 10% of the children in the public schools are homeless and more than 50% of the foreclosures are of rental properties.)"
